Welcome to the Big Show.

Hello Monday,

Well, yesterday was Undergraduate Admissions second Student Showcase of the year and it was a giant success! A lot of people came on out on a beautiful Boston day to tour our exciting campus and help gain insight as they continue there collegiate search. I heard all the speakers did an excellent job and that their sessions were engaging and informative. I wish I had a chance to hear my dad speak at a parents session as he relayed his student perspective from the eyes of a proud alumni.

This week is a busy, yet fun one. Tonight I have rehearsal for the talent I am performing at the upcoming First Annual Mr. Suffolk Pageant. I am really anxious and nervous to get the talent worked out, since Ive had to switch recently due to my knee injury. But, I am not down, just excited that I could call on a friend to help me take a different approach that will revisit an old interest of mine and hopefully I'm not too rusty for the show Wednesday night.

Tomorrow night I will be attending the Student Government Association Leadership Awards Show at the Copley Marriot. I cannot wait for all the more than deserving winners to presented. I just want to also congratulate all the nominees, you did an exceptional job and there is no doubt in my mind that Student Activities would be no where near as successful and productive as it is now, if not for the hard work of a dedicated, energetic group of student leaders. Also, Suffolk Smile Train is nominated for Best Student Organization, what an honor to be recognized along with the other fine standing student organizations.

Wednesday night at 7pm in the Donahue Cafe is the Inagural Mr. Suffolk Pageant. Six male contestants will perform a group dance number, individual talent, spirit wear and evening wear and vie to become the first ever Mr. Suffolk. Please, come on out and attend what is sure to be an entertaining compilation of talent and laughter.Hope to see you all there in attendance!

This Friday I will be attending the LEAP conference for Suffolk Student Leaders at the Cape Codder Resort to begin planning for next years programs! It is sure to be a fun time.

on a side note, the graduate school search is still in its beginning stages, but I am starting to plan a trip to NYC in may to look at various schools with some friends. It is a scary, yet exciting time, one that I am eager to see how it unfolds.

Alright, now that I have taken up far too much of your time I will leave you all with this farewell...

"Every great journey begins with a single step; and, it is usually the first step that is the most difficult. Though, in time, you will soon come to realize that the journey is essential for growth and discovery"

Keep in Touch.
