Rumor has it, I'm in the Clear.

Hello All,

As colleges and universities across the country wrap up their academic years, many students will soon take to the air, maybe to take a vacation, or go back home. So with that, air travel inspires this post.

In a joyous return, Clear is Back. Under new ownership, the Clear Pass Security program is making its storied return to airports, but don't call it a comeback -or actually you can, since thats exactly what it is. Alclear placed a bid to buyout the bankruptcy stricken program Verified Identity Pass, acquiring all assets to generate new vision and re launch the program that offered travelers a favorable security option. The program is based of the premise that it will allow the traveler to experience expedited service at security checkpoints. The Clear program is a must have in my opinion for frequent travelers. I am happy, since my family invested in this program during its original inception. It was sad to see the original run be short lived, but with the declaration of its return, Clear is honoring existing members terms of membership. Branding the newly renovated program as a "customer centric company", Clear Pass will be a program centered around the customer.

The first Clear program reopens this fall, with pricing set at $179 per year for unlimited individual use or $229 per year for unlimited family use. In my opinion if you have the financial means to purchase a membership, its perfect for those who love speedy security lines, aka, for people with little patience for long lines, like myself.

Take care.

John
